In light of Jamie’s 35th Birthday today, Fifty Shades trilogy author E L James shared this lovely photo of herself with Jamie, taken last year while filming Fifty Shades Darker and Freed. Erika shared it today in celebration of Dornan’s birthday. Thanks, Erika!
Well isn’t he sneaky.
We were anticipating Jamie’s arrival in LA as he’s scheduled to attend the Academy Awards on Sunday night but it looks like he arrived in America unbeknownst to anyone.
Jamie was spotted in LA participating in the United Voices Rally on Friday, February 24, an anti-Trump event. We never see a political side of Jamie and although the photos of him are not suggesting he marched or protested, he was there showing his support to those in America who (clearly) share the same views.
He also snapped a picture with Sam Heughan, sending fans of both actors into a frenzy!
After LA, Jamie is off to Croatia for a week of filming for a new film and role he’s quite excited about, Robin Hood: Origins, opposite Jamie Foxx. Dornan will play one of Hood’s merry men, Will Scarlet. Jamie’s getting back in tune with his Once Upon A Time days, playing fictional characters he’s more than comfortable with. Although his OUAT days were short, it’s nice to see him settling back into his roots.
JAMIE WAS ON THE LOOSE Thursday and Friday night and good for him for doing so!
The star was spotted Thursday night in Portrush by locals at The Mermaid. Enjoying a pint of Guinness after a long week of promotion for Anthropoid, the Irish actor took some much needed time to enjoy a beer with his buds. He graciously stopped to take pictures with fans, a welcome change from the ravenous paparazzi.
The night after, Friday, he was spotted YET AGAIN at the Olde Glen Bar in Carrigart once more indulging in a pint with his mates. Carefree and relaxed, Jamie once again graciously posed for fan pic after fan pic while interacting with the locals, humble as always.

BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOUR
As expected, our eyeballs were privy to brand-new Jamie today, snapped by paparazzi leaving the ITV Studios this morning. Donning a signature blue jacket by Sclapers, plain white tee, blue jeans that fit like a glove and his trademark specs, Dornan looks refreshed and ready for the busy week he has ahead of him.
Dornan films The One Show on BBC today (as it airs at 7pm UK time) and is also attending the UK premier of Anthropoid alongside co-star Cillian Murphy. Tomorrow, Dornan attends the Audi Dublin International Film Festival for another Anthropoid screening. We couldn’t be happier that his latest film is getting world wide attention as well as others which are soon to hit the big screen!
On Friday, Jamie’s new film ‘The 9th Life of Louis Drax’ hits theaters, while Jadotville is set to premier in October. Jamie is also said to be starting a new project in October, but there’s not much information regarding the undercover role, or if it’s even an acting gig period.

ALL HE NEEDS IS A PLAIN, WHITE TEE
Our eyeballs needed readjusting this morning when new pictures of Jamie spotted out at the market in Cotswolds, UK yesterday graced our news feeds and timelines. He looks well! Jamie’s been laying low for the past couple of weeks during down time from various press tours he’s currently working on. In nothing more than jeans, a white tee and runners, Jamie effortlessly steals our hearts with a simple coffee in hand and bulging biceps.
Next week, Dornan resumes press junkets and public appearances for ‘Anthropoid’ making stops at the Audi Dublin International Film Festival, a Q&A and screening of the film alongside co-star Cillian Murphy and two talk shows. The week after that, Dornan embarks on press tours for the third series of ‘The Fall’ as well as his most anticipated project (I mean, we’ve only waited two years or so – no biggie,) Liz Jensen’s psychological thriller, ‘The 9th Life of Louis Drax.’
With such a hectic schedule ahead of the Irish actor, it’s humbling to know that he’s taking whatever time he has at the moment to be the loving husband and doting father we’ve grown to love. We’ll see you next week, Jamie!

Written by author Eugene McCabe, it is set to become a BBC mini-series, based on the 1992 novel by the same name.
Producer Jim Sheridan’s next great film will be based on the true story detailing the September 25th, 1983 Maze (Great) Prison Escape in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The prison was renowned for being one of the most escape proof, impenetrable prisons in the world.
The films production has been postponed.

The film premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival in April.

An IRA operative (Dornan) hunts down the person responsible for the accidental lethal shooting of his wife – an SAS captain (Claflin). Production is scheduled to start this summer in London and Dublin.
