It’s been a while since we’ve laid eyes on our favourite Irishman! Jamie took Los Angeles by storm today whilst attending the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversation Series. Hosted by Variety’s Jenelle Riley, Dornan was there to talk about his role as Paul Spector in Belfast thriller, The Fall. The final episode (for Dornan) aired last Friday simultaneously on BBC Two and RTE One and it left viewers in fifty shades of emotions.
‘The SAG-AFTRA Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides vital assistance and educational programming to its performers while serving the public through it’s children’s literacy needs’ So, Jamie took some time to sit down with Jenelle to talk about his acting craft and process.
Unfortunately, no video has been released of the conversation as it’s due to post on SAG’s YouTube in a couple of days. We’re stoked however to hear how Jamie perfects the role of Paul Spector and any insight into Jamie’s thoughts about Spector’s demise.
The star is in LA to work on a current project ‘Untogether,’ where he plays Nick – a writer who’s achieved success writing his memoir of war-time courage which sees him showered in women and wealth. The story however focuses around the affair between Nick (Dornan) and Andrea (Jemima Kirke,) a former teen prodigy turned heroin-addict who’s trying to achieve success as a writer.
The film is already halfway through production, completing much of it before Dornan’s arrival.
The star is also set to appear on Jimmy Kimmel tomorrow evening at 11:35pm EST on ABC. He’ll tape the show during the day tomorrow prior to it being aired.
