The 100 fans, mostly women, who saw the sexy ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Friday night at the Ziegfeld could barely contain their excitement for Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. And they said he had great on-screen heat with his co-star, Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele.
There’s nothing Christian Grey likes more than a big hit.
And according to fans who attended a special screening of the sexy, sultry and sadomasochistic “Fifty Shades of Grey” at the Ziegfeld on Friday night, that’s exactly what he — and Universal Studios — have on their hands.
More than 100 “Fifty”-philes, mostly women, could barely contain their excitement when Jamie Dornan, the Irish actor and former Calvin Klein model who plays Grey, first appeared on the screen.
There was loud applause — and cheers — and the audience didn’t restrain themselves from intermittent gasps, nervous giggles and even a stray “Oh, yeah” throughout the screening.
As an attendee of this special viewing on a scale of 1 to 50, I would give the movie and Jamie and Dakota a 50!! They countered each other perfectly. You really believed that there was heat and a whole lot of something more there. E. L. James and Sam Taylor-Johnson sure did a magnificent job finding our Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. It truly was not only steamy, but amazing to watch. You feel their lust, love, pain, and so much more. The chemistry was hot, hot, hot. It was truly a privilege to go out to New York for the screening. It exceeded all of my expectations, and I know that this is one movie I will continue to pay for over and over again while in theaters. This is going to be an epic movie, and I do believe you will come out loving both Jamie and Dakota even more than you already did.
