Jamie’s time on the greens at St. Andrew’s has been powerful – after landing a 64 foot eagle in Round One of the Alfred Dunhill & Links Pro-Am Championship, his game has remained pretty on point. However, Jamie needs to place in the top 20 if he has any hopes of playing in the final round on Sunday. And although we love our favourite Bad Golfer, the goal will be difficult to attain. On the downfall that he doesn’t make the top 20, he stated the following in a quote to the Arbroath Harold;
“I’ve got tickets to watch Ireland play Italy in the Rugby World Cup on Sunday, but I’d swap those to get to play here again on the final day, especially if I could eagle the 18th again to win the team tournament. It was fantastic out there today.”
We wish Jamie the best as he concludes his time at the ADL regardless of the outcome. We’re just happy that no matter what, we still have a few more days of pictures and his mega-watt smile.
